Barton Malow Named a ‘Best + Brightest Company’ for 20th Consecutive Year

For the past two decades, Barton Malow has been named a Best + Brightest Company to Work For in Metro Detroit.

Barton Malow was formally recognized alongside 61 other Metro Detroit honorees at a ceremony held at The Henry in Dearborn, Michigan, on Thursday, November 7. Barton Malow was also named a Best + Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation as well as a "Best of the Best" large business.

"Being named one of the Best + Brightest Companies for 20 consecutive years has brought us both impressive trophies for our display case and valuable public recognition," says Vice President of People Experience Lisa Tolbert. "However, the true meaning of this honor is what it represents: a two-decade commitment by Barton Malow to foster a positive team member experience within a caring and supportive culture."

The National Association for Business Resources (NABR) worked with an independent research firm to review key metrics relative to other nationally recognized winners. To determine the winners, the firm scored companies on compensation; benefits; team member engagement, recognition, and retention; wellness and well-being; recruitment; team member learning and development; work-life balance; company performance; and more.

Best + Brightest in Wellness

At the ceremony, Barton Malow earned additional honors for its team member wellness initiatives. The Best + Brightest in Wellness initiative highlights employers that promote a culture of wellness and acknowledges the teams that strategize, execute, and assess team member wellness efforts. Additionally, the construction firm was awarded an 'Elite' designation for its on-site and remote offerings.
