President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of the United States Joseph Biden.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the strong and unwavering support Ukraine has received since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

"Your leadership in uniting the world, along with America's bipartisan support, has enabled us to stand firm in this war and defend Ukraine's independence," the Head of State said.

The President of Ukraine also thanked President Biden for the new USD 425 million defense package, which includes additional air defense systems and long-range weapons.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joseph Biden discussed the potential for providing Ukraine with more air defense systems. The President of Ukraine urged to speed up the process, as well as to enhance cooperation in arms production.

Special attention was paid to increasing defense cooperation in the coming months, additional training for Ukrainian warriors and strengthening sanctions against Russia. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the United States' commitment to significantly bolster Ukrainian positions.

The parties also discussed the upcoming online meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.

The Ukrainian leader shared that today he presented the Victory Plan to the Parliament and the Ukrainian people, receiving support from all parliamentary parties and groups. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will discuss the Victory Plan with representatives of civil society to unite Ukrainians.

The President of Ukraine also mentioned that tomorrow he will present the Victory Plan to our EU partners at the European Council.

Special attention was paid to the collaboration between Ukrainian and American teams on the Victory Plan.

"We are grateful to America for understanding our needs and supporting Ukraine's strengthening in order to force Russia into good faith diplomacy," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

Furthermore, he spoke about joint efforts with partners to implement the points of the Peace Formula.
