TourismOhio is providing travelers with the inspiration for a seasonal escape in the heart of it all with its list of Christmas card-worthy charming towns across Ohio. Whether a family is looking for carriage rides, town-wide celebrations, or unique historical experiences, these destinations have the hot cocoa flowing and warm welcomes waiting.

"The holiday season is all about togetherness and creating lasting memories, and these communities offer the perfect backdrop for both."

TourismOhio's seasonal lists spotlight the unique charm of towns across the state and the holiday editionshowcases communities that go above and beyond to spread festive cheer. This year's highlights include Cambridge, Gallipolis, Lancaster, Lebanon, Steubenville, and Vermilion-each offering its own unique holiday experience.

"Holiday visits to these charming towns are a wonderful way to shop unique stores, support small businesses, and uncover one-of-a-kind gifts-all while embracing the festive spirit," said state tourism director Sarah Wickham. "One of the best things about living in Ohio is we get to experience and celebrate all four seasons. So, bundle up and explore the magic of the season!"

For even more holiday inspiration, visitors are encouraged to download the newly released Ohio Holiday Events Guide, showcasing five events from each of Ohio's 88 counties, and explore the Ohio Holiday Lights Trail, featuring 73 dazzling displays across the state.
