Tuolumne County

Lane Closures on State Routes 49, 108, And 132

Tuolumne County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures next week on State Route 49 (SR-49), State Route 108 (SR-108), and State Route 132 (SR-132). Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control between Colombia Way and Jack Page Road for utility work on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 108

  • One-way traffic control between the 8,000' elevation marker and Sonora Pass for blasting beginning Monday, October 28, through Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Clarks Fork Road and Kennedy Meadows Road for delineation work beginning Monday, October 28 through Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Bonds Flat Road and the SR-49 junction in Coulterville for pavement marker replacement beginning Tuesday, October 29 through Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
