The Creve Coeur City Council recognized Judy Wasserman as Citizen of the Year 2024 for her dedication and service to the community at the Appreciation Event on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Creve Coeur Government Center. Mayor Robert Hoffman presented the award to Wasserman during the event, held annually to honor all city volunteers and members of the city's boards, committees and commissions.
For over a decade, Wasserman has picked up trash during her walks around Creve Coeur, from Olive Boulevard to Ladue Road and many places in between. Her consistent efforts to pick up litter in local neighborhoods has a direct impact, helping protect wildlife and create a cleaner environment for everyone.
"These small acts make a big difference in making Creve Coeur a beautiful place to live," said Mayor Hoffman. "Judy has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to making our community better, inspiring others to do the same."
In addition to her personal efforts to improve our community, Wasserman is also an actively involved citizen. She has been the President of the Creve Coeur Place Homes Association for over ten years, serving her community in this leadership role and managing neighborhood business with the utmost respect and professionalism.
