Video: Police Arrest Five Teens Seen Running From Two Stolen Vehicles in North Seattle

Seattle Police arrested five teens seen running from two stolen vehicles and crashing them in North Seattle two weeks ago.

On September 12th at 2:22 p.m., patrol officers respond to reports of a vehicle collision and juveniles running away from a stolen car near the Burke Gilman Trail and Northeast 65th Street.

The suspects entered into another stolen vehicle parked nearby and fled the area. Police located them near Sandpoint Way Northeast and Northeast 75th Street. They fled into Magnusson Park, eluding police.

They drove into a dead-and and ran from the vehicle as it was still moving, crashing it. Police engaged in a foot pursuit and caught three suspects immediately. They caught the other two suspects sometime later.

Officers arrested them for multiple crimes ranging from Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Eluding a Police Vehicle, Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission, and Obstructing a Public Officer.

All five teens, ages 13-15, were booked into juvenile detention at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center.

Detectives with the General Investigations Unit have been assigned to this case.
