Italiano: Orienta Capital Partners acquisisce Sunseeker
FARO Alternative Investments and Orienta Capital Partners, alongside Lionheart Capital, have completed the acquisition of Sunseeker International (Holdings) Ltd., a historic British shipyard specializing in high-performance luxury motor yachts.
Orrick represented FARO Alternative Investments and Orienta Capital Partners.
The companies acquired Sunseeker from the Chinese industrial group Dalian Wanda.

Sunseeker International (Holdings) Limited is a British luxury yacht brand. The company was founded in 1969 by Robert Braithwaite and has since become a global icon known as the world's leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts. Its headquarters and main assembly facility is in Poole Harbour in Dorset, England.
This transaction marks the first cross-border acquisition for Orienta Capital Partners and FARO. The new ownership structure will enable Sunseeker to enhance the shipyards' identity and craftmanship, guiding the brand toward ambitious growth objectives.
Sunseeker will retain its British identity and maintain its headquarters in Poole, where its primary production, workforce and operational infrastructure reside.
Fabio Fauceglia led a multidisciplinary Orrick team that advised Orienta Capital Partners and FARO Alternative Investments on M&A aspects of the transaction. The team included Eugenio Zupo, Giuseppe Fichera, Philip Jackson, Lucrezia Marchionni and Riccardo Galet. Mae Morter provided support for the finance aspects of the deal.
