In honor of its 150th anniversary, Woodland Public Library is proud to announce the launch of the 150 Years of Reading: The Ultimate Library Challenge, a yearlong reading and activity program designed for participants of all ages. The challenge will run from October 1, 2024 through October 2025, offering library patrons an exciting opportunity to read, explore the library, engage in fun activities, and win incredible prizes.
150 Years of Reading: The Ultimate Library Challenge is part of Woodland Public Library's ongoing commitment to inspire a lifelong love of reading, community involvement, and educational growth. Participants will log the books they read, complete activities offered at the library, and unlock milestones as they progress through the year. From infants to seniors, everyone is welcome to join in this legacy challenge.
How It Works:

To commemorate this momentous year, Woodland Public Library will continue to host a series of special events throughout the challenge, including a Bookmobile Kickoff, a Women's History event, and additional family-friendly programming. Each event will celebrate the library's legacy while looking forward to the next 150 years of service.
