The Department of History is offering a new course in spring 2025, "Bodies & Boundaries: Sex and Gender in History."
This upper-division history course will explore theories of gender and sexuality, and talk about how ideas of gender and sexuality shape politics and culture across history, from medieval Europe to nineteenth-century Iran to the American West. This course also counts towards the minor in Women's & Gender Studies.
We will meet in-person on Tuesday/Thursday from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. in Admin/Humanities room 142. Interested students who would like to take the course but don't meet the prerequisites should contact the instructor, Professor Katherine Sinclair, at [email protected].
