Today, Governor Stitt announced the appointment of Donna Lynn Dirickson as the district judge for Oklahoma's Second Judicial District.
"Judge Dirickson is a great representation of Oklahoma's values," said Governor Stitt. "Her experience and deep roots in her community make her a great fit for this role. I have no doubt she'll bring integrity and respect to the bench."
Dirickson earned her bachelor's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Throughout her career, Dirickson has received numerous awards, including the Oklahoma Bar Association President's Award and the OBA Family Law Judge of the Year. She also established the Family Recovery Court program, an initiative that supports families impacted by substance abuse issues.
"I am very grateful to Governor Stitt for this appointment and the trust he has placed in me," Dirickson said.
Beyond her judicial service, Dirickson is actively involved in her community, volunteering with local organizations, including her community food bank and teaching a women's Bible study class. She also enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
