Suspicious Death Investigation - 27000 block of Eucalyptus Court

HAYWARD, Calif., On September 23,2024,at approximately 10:36p.m., officers responded to the report of a disturbance near the 27000 block of Eucalyptus Court. The reporting party called 9-1-1 after afamily member at the residence indicated that something had happened inside the home.

Officers arrived on scene and locateda 47-year-old unresponsive female. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Theexactcause of death is under investigation.

A 47-year-old male was also locatedat the scene, suffering from apparentself-inflicted lacerations. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.

The male and female are legally married and live together.

Theiridentities are known but are not being released at this time, pending formal identification protocols by the Alameda County Coroner's Office and notifications to next of kin.

This incident is being investigated as a suspicious death. Theinvestigation is ongoing,and additional details will be provided as they become available.
