DNC Announces Six-Figure Voter Turnout Campaign Targeting Diverse Constituencies Across California Arrow

Today, the DNC announced a six-figure 'I Will Vote' paid media campaign engaging Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Armenian, Black, Latino, and LGBTQ+ communities across the state of California. The campaign will launch in multiple languages in 32 constituency publications in all of the state's major media markets to encourage Democratic turnout, including six critical races to flip the House majority.

With six highly competitive House races, including five opportunities to flip Republican-held House districts blue, the road to securing a Democratic House majority runs through California. The DNC's latest 'I Will Vote' paid campaign will engage key communities through trusted constituency-owned media in both Democratic strongholds and demographically diverse swing districts - stretching from Vietnamese publications in Orange County to LGBTQ+ magazines reaching Palm Springs and Hispanic outlets in the Central Valley - to empower voters of color and LGBTQ+ voters with the resources they need to be the decision makers in California elections that promise local and national impact.

"This latest investment to get out the vote in California demonstrates that Democrats are committed to engaging with every corner of our diverse coalition and investing in a 50-state strategy, including in crucial down-ballot races that could decide the direction of the future of our country," said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. "We're reaching voters where they are and through the platforms they trust, so that voters everywhere - including voters of color and in the LGBTQ+ community - have the resources they need to cast their ballot in the most important election of our lifetimes. Democrats aren't taking any votes for granted, and by mobilizing every corner of our broad coalition, we'll not only send Vice President Harris to the White House, but win the critical races we need to ensure a Democratic majority in Congress."

This latest six-figure investment comes on top of the DNC announcing a six-figure investment to support VOTA!, the California Democratic Party's Latino constituency outreach and organizing program, as well as a 25 percent increase in yearly state party investment from the DNC. The DNC's 'I Will Vote' campaign directs voters to the DNC's most complete, accurate, and up-to-date national coverage of polling places and voter education information all in one place. The DNC's California-specific campaign follows recently announced 'I Will Vote' ad buys from the DNC targeting Native American and LGBTQ+ voters.
