Anchorage, Alaska - Payton Matsui scored 73 seconds into overtime to give Augustana a 3-2 win over Alaska Anchorage Friday at the Avis Alaska Sports Complex.
The Vikings converted on their first and only powerplay of the game when Luke Mobley scored his seventh goal of the season at 6:53 of the first period.
Dimitry Kebreau scored his fourth goal of the season at 12:50 of the second period and then recorded his team-leading 11th assist of the season on Conor Cole's goal at 17:37 of the second period.
Easton Young tied the game at 2-2 with his first career goal at 18:07 of the second period.
Payton Matsui scored the game-winner at 1:13 of overtime for his second point of the game.
Augustana out-shot Alaska Anchorage 28-20.
Tyler Krivtsov made 25 saves in goal for UAA.
Alaska Anchorage will play at Dartmouth Dec. 28.
