CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 6, 2024) - If you fear your house will be flooded, follow these safety steps to prevent electrical hazards:

  • Wear rubber-soled shoes or boots.
  • Turn off your circuit breakers.
  • Disconnect all electrical appliances.
  • Turn off all wall switches.
