Restroom renovations begin at Powerhouse

The Public Works Department this month is completing renovations of the public restrooms at Powerhouse Park.

The facilities will be closed for about three weeks. During that time, visitors are asked to use the public restrooms a half-block to the north at the Beach Safety Center at 17th Street.

The work program includes fresh paint on the walls and slip-resistant, epoxy coating on the floors. Workers will install new ventilation equipment, toilet flush valves, toilet paper and soap dispensers and infant changing tables.
