City of New Orleans Issues Statement on Sanitation Services Civil District Court Ruling

NEW ORLEANS - The City of New Orleans issued the following statement on the Sanitation Services Civil District Court Ruling:

On Monday, a Civil District Court judge ruled that the New Orleans City Council must move forward with the Sanitation Services contract awarded to Henry Consulting for the French Quarter and Downtown Development District areas. Judge Paulette Irons stated that while the City Council may proceed with its normal deliberative process, it will ultimately be required to sign the contract.

The Cantrell Administration remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing the City's progress and serving the best interests of all its residents.
