Kansas City area maintenance work for Nov. 4-8

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Nov. 4-8. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

Interstate 35 northbound and southbound at Front St.: various lane closures on Mon., Nov. 4 and Tue., Nov. 5 from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day, for roadway repair. Work will also require temporary ramp closures from The Paseo to northbound I-35 and the ramps at Front St.

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Colbern Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., Nov. 4 through Fri., Nov. 8, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route WW between Missouri Highway 23 and SE 950 Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., Nov. 4, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Missouri Highway 58 between US-50 and Holden: flagging operation from Mon., Nov. 4 until Fri., Nov. 9, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair.

MO-23: flagging operation for pavement repair work from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily:

• Tue., Nov. 5 - Wed., Nov. 6: between NE 175 Rd. and NE 400 Rd.
• Thu., Nov. 7 - Fri., Nov. 8: between NE 400 Rd. and NE 625 Rd.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route T at Eastwood Ave. in Higginsville: flagging operation on Mon., Nov. 4, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

Route CC between MO-23 and Otis Rd.: full closure on Mon., Nov. 4, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting.

Route YY between Mount Olive Rd. and Handy Rd.: full closure on Thu., Nov. 7, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting.

Route F between Little Rd and Cottonwood Rd.: full closure on Thu., Nov. 7, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement.

Route N just before end of state maintenance: full closure on Thu., Nov. 7, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement.

Route Y: flagging operation on Fri., Nov. 8, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

PLATTE COUNTY

Interstate 29 southbound between Missouri Highway 371 and Route HH (Main St. in Platte City): left lane closed until Nov. 11 for bridge repair work. Details: REVISED: Lane closure on SB I-29 south of MO Route 273, extended through Nov. 11 | Missouri Department of Transportation

Intermittent closures on various routes from Mon., Nov. 4 until Fri., Nov. 8, for brush cutting:

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 between US-65 and South MO- 41: flagging operation from Mon., Nov. 4 until Fri., Nov. 8, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
