Larson Statement on Sixty-One Years Since the Assassination of President Kennedy

East Hartford, CT - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the 61st anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

"Sixty-one years ago, a young man rode with his head held high under the Texas Sun, and no one guessed that a man so blessed would perish by the gun," said Larson. "With him rode the hopes and aspirations of the American people he was sworn to serve. John F. Kennedy's legacy lives on as a president of incomparable grace, dignity, wit, and vision. While November 22nd will always live on as a day of infamy, his spirit, his charisma, and the inspirational hope he gave to the nation will never perish and should persist."
