Working group for preparing new drafts of military regulations holds meeting

On October 5, the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army hosted a meeting of the working group established by the relevant order of Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov in order to prepare draft regulations on discipline, garrison, guard services and internal service of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting under the leadership of the the First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, responsible officials of the relevant bodies of the Armed Forces discussed the work to be done in to improve the mentioned regulations.
It was highlighted that the reforms, success and innovations in the Armed Forces under the leadership of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev necessitate the adaptation and improvement of the military regulations in use to the requirements of modern period.
Moreover, the participants exchanged views on other causes and goals that underlie the improvement of the charters, as well as on the use of the experience of the armies of developed countries during the work to be done in working group's activities.
