Atlanta's favorite fun family Halloween festival is back for four magical days for the whole family

WHAT: Atlanta's favorite fun family Halloween festival returns on Saturdays and Sundays, October 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2024, at Boo at the Zoo presented by Georgia Natural Gas. Activities will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

People of all ages will enjoy seasonal fun in the home of hundreds of animals from around the world. In a Zoo transformed in the spooktacular spirit of Halloween, guests can sample sweet treats on Trick-or-Treat Lane; try their luck at classic carnival games; create Halloween crafts; meet friendly strolling characters; climb aboard a themed ride on The Norfolk Southern Zoo Train (additional ticket required); and more.

Exclusive to the Halloween season in 2024 is Jinxed: A Spooky Virtual Reality Experience presented in partnership with Immotion at the Zoo's Wild Explorer VR Theater (additional ticket required).

Family-friendly entertainment will run on all four days of the festival.

Saturday, October 19: The Magic of Tommy Johns and the Wowie Zowie Show by Dad's Garage

Sunday, October 20:The Piccadilly Puppet Show and the Wowie Zowie Show by Dad's Garage

Saturday, October 26:The Magic of Tommy Johns, Captain Crimmins & The Story Boat Band, and an animal enrichment extravaganza at habitats around the Zoo

Sunday, October 27:The Piccadilly Puppet Show and Mime, Magic and More

On both weekends, food and beverage locations around the Zoo will offer limited-time specialty items perfect for spooky season. These will include Pumpkin Loaf Cake, a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and a Witches Brew beverage at Sips; a Poison Apple beverage and Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake at PopCone; a Fall Harvest Pizza at Willie B.'s; and Oktoberfest Brats at Go Dogs.
