December 13, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 9200 of Westpark Drive about 6:50 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased female pedestrian, believed to be in her 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer R. Bymaster reported:

A female, believed to be jogging westbound on the right shoulder of Westpark Drive, was struck by an unknown vehicle. The unknown driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

At this time there are no known witnesses to the crash.
