Food trucks can apply to vend at the Overnight Food Truck Market

Great news! Do you operate a food truck in Philadelphia?

The Department of Commerce, Office of Business Development's Nighttime Economy Unit in partnership with the Fishtown District is excited to announce the launch of the Overnight Food Truck Market.

The Overnight Food Truck Market in Fishtown will operate starting October 3, 2024 on a weekly basis from Thursdays to Sundays until November 3, 2024.

Food Truck Eligibility

6 food truck spots are available per week. Eligible food trucks for the Overnight Food Truck Market are required to:

  • Have an approved Mobile Food Business Plan review from the Department of Health
  • Obtain general liability insurance for the festival and submit a copy of insurance listing Fishtown District as additional insured ahead of their scheduled weekend.
  • Be located in Philadelphia.
  • Have a food license and a vendor motor vehicle license
  • Have all required federal, state, and local licenses and permits to legally operate.
  • Be in compliance with all local, state, and federal taxes (or on an approved payment plan or in the process of getting on an approved payment plan).

Registration priority will be given to minority-owned food trucks as well as licensed trucks that may have been displaced from the area in and around Frankford & Girard Ave.

The Overnight Food Truck Operations

Location: 29 East Allen Street, Philadelphia, PA. 19123

Time: 9PM - 4 AM

Food vendors list will be updated weekly for the following dates:

  1. October 3, 2024 to October 6, 2024
  2. October 10, 2024 to October 13, 2024
  3. October 17, 2024 to October 20, 2024
  4. October 24, 2024 to October 27, 2024
  5. October 31, 2024 to November 3, 2024
