Philadelphia Fed to Host the Eighth Annual Fintech Conference

Philadelphia, PA - The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will host its Eighth Annual Fintech Conference virtually and in person on October 22 and 23, 2024. Since 2017, the annual Fintech Conference has provided a platform for fintech experts from various backgrounds to discuss emerging issues in financial technology, their impact, and the appropriate policy responses.

"The goal of the Fintech Conference is to encourage discussions about the future of the industry," said Julapa Jagtiani, senior economic advisor and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, who guides the team that organizes the conference. "For the past seven years, renowned researchers and practitioners have gathered to discuss policy questions and to debate with other qualified experts who may hold opposite viewpoints, based on their research or industry experience. I'm looking forward to this year's conversation."

The Eighth Annual Fintech Conference will feature a variety of academic and technology-focused speakers, including:
