We live in a time in which cyber attacks and security threats are omnipresent and constantly increasing. It is therefore important for organisations and companies in particular to keep up to date with current developments and identify possible protective measures. With this in mind, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and the MinGenTec network are organising an event entitled "Secure. Strong. Future-orientated: Together for Cyber Security in Companies" to this year's Transfer Day.

Experts from science and representatives from companies will report on trends and experiences in the complex field of Cyber Security. Specialists will provide insights into their work and offer support and networking when it comes to protecting against cyber attacks. In addition to specialist lectures, discussions and presentations, the BTU Transfer Day offers an important networking platform for dialogue between companies as well as insights into innovative technologies, best practices and solutions.

Highlights of the event include

  • Results of the "Economic Protection 2023" study: Find out what trends and challenges companies can expect in the area of Cyber Security.
  • Vulnerabilities and cyber attacks: We highlight the most common vulnerabilities in companies and analyse current cyber attacks to give you a better understanding of the threat situation.
  • Countermeasures: Learn about effective strategies and measures to protect yourself from cyber attacks.
  • CYBERsafe check: Take the opportunity to determine the current status of your company. The check offers valuable insights and recommendations for action to improve Cyber Security.
