Use of forensic tools exclusively in line with Criminal Procedure Code

The Ministry of the Interior stated today that within the National Forensic Centre of the Technical Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior, forensic tools are used exclusively in line with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Serbia.

In a statement regarding the report of Amnesty International which refers to the use of forensic tools, it is pointed out that these tools are used in the same way by other police forces worldwide and that the allegations in that report are absolutely incorrect.
