Long Beach, CA - With Long Beach Airport (LGB) serving as a Headline Partner, the Future Travel Experience (FTE) Global Conference & Exhibition is returning for the second consecutive year to the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center beginning Monday, Oct. 28 through Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024. FTE Global 2024, co-located with the Airline Passenger Experience Association and International Flight Services Association Global EXPO, will attract more than 3,000 attendees, including top executives from airports and airlines around the world.

"We are excited to host the FTE Global Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach and welcome travel industry leaders from around the world to our beautiful city," said Mayor Rex Richardson. "Long Beach has a rich history in the aviation industry, and our City and Airport are proud to provide the backdrop for discussions that will influence the future of air transport."

This year's event includes a lineup of more than 120 speakers and more than 500 organizations coming together to discuss the future of the aviation industry and share cutting-edge ideas on innovation, customer experience and technology. Attendees of FTE Global 2024 will have access to exhibitions, workshops, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Transportation Security Administration briefings, and networking opportunities with leaders from within and beyond the aviation sector.

"FTE Global has always been about driving innovation and bringing the entire industry together to shape the future of air transport," said FTE Founder and CEO Daniel Coleman. "This year's event will take collaboration to new heights, offering a unique platform for airlines, airports and solution providers to work collectively in transforming passenger experiences and operational efficiencies. We're incredibly grateful to our Headline Partners at the Long Beach Airport for their invaluable support in helping us deliver an event of this scale and impact."

Long Beach Airport Director Cynthia Guidry will be a featured panelist in the highly anticipated session, "Next Generation Leadership Strategies for Tomorrow's Airports." Long Beach Airport will also host a booth at the conference where attendees can learn more about LGB's operations.

"This is a unique platform for our industry to come together, share insights and reimagine the future of air travel," Guidry said. "As Long Beach Airport continues to undergo its own exciting transformation, with investments in sustainability, modernized facilities and the implementation of cutting-edge technology, we are honored to serve as a host city and showcase all the great work we're doing here, solidifying Long Beach's position as a hub for innovation and leadership in the aviation industry."

LGB, celebrating a century of service, encompasses 1,166 acres and has three runways. It is unique among municipal airports for its diverse portfolio of Class A office buildings, hotels, retail, industrial facilities and a municipal golf course. Air carriers at Long Beach Airport include Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines and Southwest Airline.
