Lowe's Rallies Around Communities in Wake of Hurricane Helene

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Lowe's has continued to step up and help its neighbors. In the days following the unthinkable destruction in the Southeast, Lowe's jumped into action to get people the supplies they needed.

Lowe's has hosted more than thirty bucket brigades in communities impacted by the storm. Inside the buckets handed out to community members you can find much needed cleaning supplies and bottles of water. Thousands of buckets have been handed out to communities in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

"This is one of our values at Lowe's. And one of the things we pride ourselves in most is being there for the community in truly times of need," said Lowe's Store Manager Robert Rojas in Tampa, Florida, "There are customers who lost multiple vehicles, who lost all their belongings, who lost memories throughout the years. And if we can do something to help, then this is a great start for us besides being open every single day with the supplies they need."

In addition to the bucket brigades, Lowe's has also pledged $2 million to help those in need.

Customers across the country can support hurricane relief efforts through the American Red Cross by rounding up their transaction to the nearest while dollar at checkout in Lowe's stores through Nov. 3. These donations enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from disasters across the U.S., including Hurricane Helene.
