Ring in the season with family and friends at A Winter Welcome on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Wartinger Park, located at 3080 Kemp Road. This annual holiday celebration, hosted by the City of Beavercreek's Parks, Recreation & Culture Division in partnership with the Greene County Library, offers an evening filled with seasonal joy, delicious treats, and winter magic for all ages.
The park will be transformed into a winter wonderland, with local organizations decorating its historic cabins with holiday lights and festive decorations. As you stroll through the park, enjoy the sounds of carolers spreading holiday cheer with classic songs. Inside each cabin, guests can take part in various holiday crafts and activities.
The festivities wouldn't be complete without a visit from Santa Claus himself! Santa will be in the Tobias-Zimmer Barn, ready to hear holiday wishes and pose for photos. One of his reindeer will also make a special appearance, adding even more magic to the evening!
Warm up with free hot cocoa, coffee, and cider provided by Coffee Hub, thanks to the generosity of the Beavercreek Kiwanis Club. Local food trucks, including Gourmet Grub Shack and Freddie's Burgers and Franks, will also be on-site, offering food for purchase. Special thanks to the Beavercreek Historical Society, Day Air Credit Union, Greene Optimist Club, Rotary Club, Beavercreek Kiwanis Club, and Beavercreek Lions Club for sponsoring this event.
