Scituate Barracks

On Thursday, October 17th at 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Kajuan Carpenter, age 24, of 25 Tobey Street, Apt. #607, Providence, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault originating out of the Newport Police Department. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Newport Police Department.

On Friday, October 18th, at 12:46 AM, Troopers arrested William Kenney, age 33, of 79 Carrington Lane, Uxbridge, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Smithfield. Kenney was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

On Friday, October 18th at 12:43 AM, Troopers arrested Alvaro Chingo De La Cruz, age 26, of 60 Deane Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs B.A.C. .15 or Greater- 1st Offense (Phase I: .191, Phase II: .212, Phase III: .195). The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cumerford Street in the City of Providence. Chingo De La Cruz was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
