The County of Sonoma Department of Health Services (Department) is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Environmental Site Remediation Work Plan.

Overview

The Department of Health Services is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to develop a comprehensive Site Remediation Work Plan for property located in Sonoma County. The purpose of a work plan is to address environmental contamination issues and ensure the safe and sustainable redevelopment of the site. The current project is known as the Liberty Road Property (APN 021-121-016), located at 1196, 1150, 1122 and 1080 Liberty Road in Petaluma. The primary objective of this project is to develop a detailed Site Remediation Work Plan that outlines the steps and methodologies required to remediate environmental contamination on the project site.

Optional Pre-Bid Conference:

An optional virtual pre-bid conference will be held online via Zoom on November 22, 2024 at 2:00pm to answer questions regarding the RFP specifications and process.

Questions:

Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County's Supplier Portal and email notification. Questions should be sent via e-mail directly to: [email protected]. SUBJECT: Environmental Site Remediation Work Plan. Questions will not be accepted by phone.

Living Wage:

The living wage rate required under the County's Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour, an increase over the previous $17.65 per hour. The increase was adopted by the County's Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate.

You must be registered in the County of Sonoma's Supplier Portal (https://esupplier.sonomacounty.ca.gov/) in order to login and view, upload, and download all solicitation documents, and to submit electronic proposals or bids.
