Building a legacy of advanced leadership
The AP Ambassadors program at North Dallas High School empowers students to promote Advanced Placement courses, encouraging peers to challenge themselves academically, and prepare for college. Their goal is to build a legacy of academic excellence, inspiring students to take advantage of AP opportunities and fostering confidence, and readiness for higher education. With 12 ambassadors this year, these students attend school events, host study sessions, and plan outreach to middle schools to share their experiences beyond their campus.

VISUALS: District's new orchard will provide food and education opportunities
Yesterday, Sunset High School and Grow North Texas volunteers planted an orchard of over 40 fruit trees at the Dallas ISD Environmental Education Center. Equipped with drip irrigation and an 8-foot fence, the orchard will offer hands-on learning for visiting students. Once mature, the harvest will benefit local food banks, district resource centers, and the center's animals.
