GTT Publishes Annual ESG Report

Company details continued progress and strategic alignment plans across key environmental, social and governance principles.

GTT Communications Inc., a leading networking and security as a service provider for multinational organizations, today released its third annual report on its environmental, social and governance activities.

The report sets out the company's current ESG practices, the progress it has made against key milestones, as well as its plans for evolving its strategy to ensure alignment and compliance with established and emerging standards and frameworks central to global, sustainable business attainment.

Notable ESG developments from this year's report include:

• Strengthening the company's governance with the creation of a new position of Vice President of Risk & Compliance to lead these disciplines at scale for the company.
• Conducting a Double Materiality Assessment in preparation for compliance
  with the European Union's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
• Reduction in the company's combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions year-over-year in accordance with its goal of attaining net-zero for these business activities by 2035.
• Screening of all business material Scope 3 categories and resulting expanded reporting coverage of the company's greenhouse gas inventory.
