Alexandria, Va.- ABI announces that Rahman Connelly of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (New York) has been selected as one of ABI's "40 Under 40," ABI's award program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony on Dec. 13 during ABI's 2024 Winter Leadership Conference at The Phoenician Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Connelly is a partner in the insolvency and restructuring group at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw & Pittman LLP in New York, where he represents clients in bankruptcy, restructuring and bankruptcy litigation matters. He has significant experience advising ad hoc bondholder groups, official committees of unsecured creditors, chapter 11 debtors, foreign representatives in chapter 15 cross-border cases, and various other parties in interest. He has represented major constituencies in complex bankruptcies and high-stakes litigation across the country.
Connelly's work has been recognized by several national and international publications and organizations. He is recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyersand as one of the "Ones to Watch" by The Best Lawyers in America. Last year, he was admitted to the International Insolvency Institute's NextGen Leadership Program, which "is intended to recognize the most prominent younger 'Rising Stars' in the international insolvency area." He also sits on next generation leadership committees for the NCBJ and TMA, and he is a member of ABI's International Committee.

Now in its eighth year, the goal of ABI's "40 Under 40" award program is not simply to create a one-time ceremony, but to fully engage those selected as future leaders in the insolvency profession and to build on the initiative each year.
