Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Waste Connections of Alaska, Inc. d/b/a Alaska Waste (WCA) filed TA155-692, seeking to increase its residential cost of disposal surcharge from 28.71 percent to 36.25 percent. The increase is due to an increase in the Municipality of Anchorage disposal fees from $82.29 per ton to $87.11 per ton at the Regional Landfill, and from $95.67 per ton to $101.29 per ton at the Central Transfer Station. WCA requested expedited consideration and an early effective date of January 1, 2025 for the proposed revisions.
