Lori Chavez-DeRemer Will Raise Health Care Costs for 20 Million Americans if She Has Her Way

Two years ago, every single House Republican voted against the Inflation Reduction Act and the expansion of the ACA subsidies that kept health care costs down.

If Lori Chavez-DeRemer and House Republicans had their way, they would let these subsidies expire and raise health care costs on roughly 20 million Americans - including roughly 29,000 people in OR-05.

Without the ACA subsidies, enrollees in OR-05 will pay roughly $1,110 more for health care, and approximately 3.4 million people would lose their health insurance nationwide.

Lori Chavez-DeRemer and House Republicans have proposed numerous measures to raise health care costs, including raising the price of prescription drugs for 3.3 million people and privatizing Medicare.
