A Message from Paster Wes

Grace and Peace to Y'all!

It is mind-boggling that the fall semester is almost over! Our students are moving and grooving, and it has been so exciting to walk alongside them through academics, student life, and everything in between. I'm writing this while sitting in the Alumni Student Center, surrounded by students eating lunch, working on group projects, and enjoying life together. The pulse of the campus is strong, and student life is thriving!

Friends, I cannot help but celebrate this and think of Jesus' words to his disciples when he said, "I have come that they may have life, and life to the fullest." It is not as if everything is sunshine and rainbows here; students are still struggling with grades, relationships are still strained, and every once in a while, the Texas Northern wind brings the smells and feathers of the Tyson Chicken plant next door.

And.

And. Our community is growing closer every day. There is a spirit present in our halls, on our fields, and in the air. God is blessing and strengthening the ties that bind us together, ties that are nearly palpable.

The only thing missing is you. Come join us for a visit. Worship with us in chapel. Sit in on a class or cheer on one of our amazing teams. Come and see for yourself what God is doing in this space, and celebrate that this isn't just life, it is life lived fully.

May God bless you and keep you, now and always.
