Ethics Awareness Week Spotlight: Jackie Watts

As the USG recognizes Ethics Awareness Week Nov. 4-8, we are highlighting the helpful staff of The Office of Internal Audit and Advisory Services and Legal Affairs. Internal Audit helps GCSU accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate risk and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. The Office of Legal Affairs provides counsel to minimize legal risks and costs, reduce litigation exposure and ensure legal compliance.

Jackie Watts, Title IX Coordinator

Watts started as the Title IX Coordinator in June 2024. Her main responsibilities revolve around ensuring a safe and equitable educational environment by preventing sex-based discrimination. Watts said the best part of her job is meeting and working with new people.

Watts enjoys reading and spending time with her cats when she is not at work!
