RIVERSIDE, Calif., Nov. 25, 2024 - Molina Healthcare of California ("Molina"), Community Settlement Association (CSA) and Hensel Phelps hosted a drive-thru Thanksgiving meal kit giveaway for 300 families who may have otherwise gone without a holiday meal.
"Molina is committed to removing barriers to critical resources and increasing access to healthy options for California families," said Abbie Totten, plan president of Molina Healthcare of California. "We're grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with valued organizations like CSA and Hensel Phelps to provide Thanksgiving meals to our neighbors in Riverside and the surrounding community."
Kits included a frozen turkey, stuffing mix, canned cranberry sauce, canned green beans, canned corn, gravy mix, boxed mashed potatoes, fresh fruit, vegetables, pumpkin pie and more.
"We are proud to partner once again with Molina and Hensel Phelps to ease the burden on families struggling to serve a holiday meal," said Ninfa Delgado, vice president of operations/chief operating officer at Riverside Community Health Foundation. "Their partnership has been invaluable in meeting this need in our community."
