Portillo's (NASDAQ: PTLO) - the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of unrivaled Chicago-style street food, will officially open the doors of its first restaurant in the Houston-area and will celebrate with a grand opening on Tuesday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m., following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will include Michael Portillo, Vice President of Restaurant. During the ceremony, Portillo's will also present charity partner, Mamie George Community Center, with a check in support of this great local organization.

Located at The Grand at Aliana, an open-air lifestyle center that's home to some of the region's best shopping, the new 7,700 square-foot restaurant will feature a Southwest garage theme and seating for about 170 guests inside as well as a seasonal outdoor patio with seats for nearly 50 guests. It will also feature the brand's signature double drive-thru lanes and its Kitchen 23 design, which features self-serve beverages, a grab-and-go retail area, and an efficient kitchen layout. Guests can enjoy a menu that features Portillo's signature menu items, including Chicago-style Hot Dogs, Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers, crispy crinkle cut French fries and the Company's beloved Chocolate Cake.

Guests are invited to sign up for Portillo's Birthday Club to receive the most up to date Portillo's information. Fans who sign up also receive a slice of Portillo's homemade chocolate cake on their birthday.
