Ambassador Visits October 2024

Waverly, IA - The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held ribbon cuttings and presented First Dollar Awards to two new businesses in Waverly, and presented an existing business with a Progress Award.

The Ambassadors met with owners Emily and Benny Ganske to hold a ribbon cutting and First Dollar Award presentation to celebrate the opening of Glorify Ministry on Main, located at 89 E. Bremer Ave. Glorify Ministry on Main provides a welcoming space for spiritual growth and community engagement. Along with offering worship events, Bible studies, and outreach initiatives, they also sell a variety of Christian products. The Ambassadors met with the team at TSJK Insurance and presented them with a Progress Award to celebrate the new location of TSJK Insurance and Dan Erskine Agency, located at 103 E Bremer Ave. TSJK Insurance and Dan Erskine Insurance Agency recently relocated to a shared space, offering comprehensive insurance solutions under one roof. The Ambassadors met with store manager Maddie Hemann to hold a ribbon cutting and First Dollar Award presentation to celebrate the opening of Starbucks, located at 402 13th Ave. SW. The Waverly Starbucks location offers a range of popular coffee beverages, teas, and food options in a contemporary setting. With a focus on providing a convenient space for both casual meetings and work, the store features comfortable seating along with a pick-up counter and drive-through.
