Appeal to locate woman missing from the Snowy Mountains

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Snowy Mountains region.

Lovisa Sjoberg, aged 48, was last seen spoken to on Tuesday 8 October 2024, however police believe she was last seen driving in a grey Mitsubishi Outlander with the NSW registration DF25BA about 7am Tuesday 15 October 2024 in the Kosciuszko National Park.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified today (Monday 21 October 2024) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Lovisa's welfare due to her acting out of character and being missing for an extended period of time.

Lovisa is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with an olive complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Kiandra area and national parks around the Snowy Mountains.
