Qualitative Research to Address Childhood Cancer in Low and Middle Income Countries

Join the Qualitative Research Interest Group on Monday, November 18, at 4:00 p.m. central time.

Dylan Graetz, MD, MPH, will discuss qualitative research addressing childhood cancer in low- and middle-income countries. Dr. Graetz is an Assistant Member at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine, the Department of Oncology, and the Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Director of Culture and Communication.

She uses qualitative and quantitative methods to understand the interactions between patients, families, and healthcare teams and how these interactions impact cancer care. She studies communication in multidisciplinary teams and the impact of culture on clinical care for pediatric patients in global settings.
