Marking Remembrance Sunday in Kensington and Chelsea

Residents are invited to join the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, Cllr Will Lane, who will lead the borough's principal Act of Remembrance at the Sloane Square War Memorial from 10.55am on Sunday 10 November.


The Ceremony will be attended by councillors, civic leaders, members of the armed forces (past and serving), cadets, representatives from the emergency services and representatives of civilian organisations.


The Act of Remembrance will be followed by a Service of Remembrance at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street.


The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Laura Burns, will lead a second Act of Remembrance at the Kensington War Memorial on the corner of Kensington High Street and Kensington Church Street. This will also take place on Sunday 10 November at 10.55am.


Following the Ceremony, a Service of Remembrance will be held at St Mary Abbots Church, Kensington Church Street.
