THE STATE VISIT OF PRESIDENT KHURELSUKH TO TURKMENISTAN CONCLUDES

The State Visit of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh to Turkmenistan was concluded.

President Khurelsukh was seen off at the Ashgabat International Airport by an official delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B.Atdayev.

During the State Visit, the two Heads of State held tête-à-tête meeting and official talks exchanging views on a wide range of issues such as bilateral relations and cooperation in the international and regional fora. As an outcome of the visit, the Joint Statement was issued by the Heads of State of the two countries.

Furthermore, the President met with the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and other relevant officials.

President Khurelsukh also participated as a Guest of Honor in the international forum "The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - The Basis of Peace and Development" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Turkmen poet and philosopher M.Pyragy and delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum.

In the course of the visit a 'Mongolian-Turkmenistan Joint Cultural Performance' was held under the patronage of both Heads of State, featuring the inaugural performance of the Mongolian State Morin Khuur Ensemble in Ashgabat.

During the visit 'Mongolia-Turkmenistan Business Forum' was successfully organized, facilitating connections between entrepreneurs and business leaders from both countries, and is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding trade, investment, and business cooperation.

The first-ever State Visit since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkmenistan in 1992, was of great significance in marking a new chapter of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
