MPD Arrests Suspect in Northwest Assault

The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest in an assault in Northwest.

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, at approximately 2:56 p.m., Second District officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest, for the report of an assault. On scene the victim reported that he was involved in an argument with a coworker. The victim stated that during the argument the suspect pointed a handgun at him.

Second District officers located and detained the suspect. 34-year-old Parris Davis, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
