Essex County, NJ: BURGLARY OF POSTAL VEHICLES

The suspects broke the windows of USPS vehicles and stole mail from the vehicle. The thefts began on November 12, 2024, and are ongoing in Essex County. Two different vehicles, pictured above, were used during the incidents. The first vehicle is a 2003-2006 silver-colored Infiniti G35 with tinted windows and a sunroof. The vehicle does not have a license plate attached and there is notable damage on the rear bumper to the right of the license plate mount. The second vehicle is a 2002-2003 silver-colored Mitsubishi Galant with tinted windows, missing all 4 hubcaps, with no tag in the front and fake NJ temp tags on the rear. There is damage to the front driver side and a scrape along the front passenger side of the vehicle. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who burglarized United States Postal Service vehicles within Essex County, NJ.
