Andria Johnson Appointed Vice President for Finance and Administration

Today, PSU President Ann Cudd announced the appointment of Andria Johnson as Vice President of Finance and Administration, following a national search.

"Andria's dedication to PSU, along with her emphasis on transparent communication and participatory budgeting, played an important role in my decision," said President Cudd. "Andria also has the deep knowledge of PSU's finances and its community to help us develop new paths toward financial sustainability."

Johnson's appointment follows her one-year term as interim Vice President for Finance and Administration. Johnson first joined the University Budget Office as a student employee in 2008 and transitioned to a full-time position in 2010. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the School of Business Administration's Accounting program in 2010 and continued on to earn her Master of Science in Financial Analysis in 2013.

"PSU has reached a precipice where the choices we make will guide our success in the future," Johnson said. "I'm excited to be giving back to the institution that has given so much to me by being a part of the leadership team that shapes the way we accomplish our goals."

During her time at PSU, Johnson has engaged students, faculty and staff in the university budgeting process by participating in the Student Incidental Fee Committee, the Tuition Review Advisory Committee, collective bargaining and budget symposiums.

Away from the office, Johnson enjoys tending her small deck garden, lounging in the sun, and curling up with a good book.

"I also thank the search committee, co-chaired by Vice President of Public Affairs Sheila Martin and Faculty Senate Presiding Officer Jill Emery, for their time, expertise and dedication to the process," President Cudd said.
