This is your USD News Minute.

Congratulations to Director for Community and Leadership Development Ariela Canizal. She was named a Latina Leader of Influence by the San Diego Business Journal. Thank you to Ariela for her outstanding leadership, her service to USD and for the many ways she is Lighting the Way Forward.

Men's Tennis recently swept the ITA All-American Championships in singles and doubles, as Oliver Tarvet and Stian Klaassen became the first male student-athletes to clinch All-American status this year. Tarvet, ranked third in singles nationally prior to the title, is just the fifth player ever to win both trophies at the championships.

You don't need to have a special major or wait until grad school to do research at USD.
