Since early 2024, Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences has welcomed 20 faculty and staff members. The college continues to add academic programs in rehabilitation and health sciences and replace retired faculty and staff.
The new employees are spread throughout the college, joining all six academic divisions (health and wellness studies, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, public health, and speech and language pathology), the Dean's Office and the Division of Advising and Academic Excellence.
"We are fortunate to have such a skilled pool of new faculty and staff members joining us," said Mario R. Ortiz, dean of Decker College. "All of us at Decker College and across Binghamton University will benefit from this wealth of talent and experience."
Decker College also added adjunct faculty (not listed), and there were several faculty appointment changes and retirements.
