GREELEY, Colo. - To celebrate Fire Prevention Week (October 6-12), the Greeley Fire Department will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at Fire Station #5, 4701 West 24th Street.
This year, the Greeley Fire Department is partnering with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to promote the 2024 campaign, "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" Statistics shows that most home fire deaths in the U.S. occur in homes without working smoke alarms or no alarms at all.
The Greeley Fire Department is sharing these important tips for this year's theme to help keep families safe:
